Accordion historian Bruce Triggs is the author of Accordion Revolution: A People’s History of the Accordion in North America from the Industrial Revolution to Rock ’n’ Roll. For over a decade he has hosted the weekly Accordion Noir radio program and podcast in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. After meeting many fabulous accordion players, Bruce decided to write about the instrument rather than trying to play it. Most recently he successfully proposed the new Accordion Emoji that is being released internationally on cell-phones and computers all over the world.
