In the Concerto effects section, I assume there are effects on each of the available voices? What do those include? Are they just the standard reverb, chorus, and delay, or are their other available effects? Also in addition to the individual voices effects, is there also a Master Effects that can be applied to the entire mix?
Great Paul, thanks for the answer and for helping to test out this Concerto Forum. Anyone who is a member should be able to use it equally well. I figured you had a Master Effects section as well. Great stuff. Thanks again.
There are the usual reverb and chorus digital effects including pan and delay that are available for every register you create in the Concerto and the amount per voice is customizable. There are also GLOBAL settings or MASTER Settings that have an effect on the entire instrument including all 128 user registers onboard. Example say you are in a hall with way too much natural reverb - by using the global setting you can bring down the reverb globally - sort of like a master volume.
There are in addition effects for each register of up to eight voices. They are:
Reverb Type (Hall 1, Hall2, Rooms 1,2,3 &4, Stage 1, Stage 2, Plate, Delay and Echo.
Also Chorus: Chorus1,2,3,4; Chorus Feedback; Flanger 1, 2, &3 Short Delay; and Short Delay Feedback.
The above can be saved for each register.
There are also Master Settings that run across all 64 Registers. They are Master Tune, Chorus Depth, Reverb Depth, Constant Expression Choices for the bass side, and the ability to adjust touch sensitivity (timing and the velocity curve). Thsee are typically set to the musicians preferences and rarely changed (although perhaps the Reverb Depth if you change to an abnormal venue).
Yes, each voice has the following effects: Volume, Octave (-3 to +3), Velocity, Pan, Reverb, and Chorus. Also on each you can program (unique to each voice on that register) repeat, do you want the sound controlled by bellows, do you want touch sensitivity on the voice.
