Peter has been on this earth for a mere 15 years, but his maturity and his incredible musical skills will fascinate and mystify you that someone this young could have this much command of music and his instrument to the level that he does.

Peter is a sophomore at Heartland Charter School, has combined passions for both the arts and aviation. A musician from a young age, Peter was inspired to pick up the accordion after watching his father’s Celtic band. Today, he is a proud member of that same band, Wrenwood Sessions, and has expanded his repertoire into Jazz using the KORG Fisa Suprema digital accordion.

His technical skill has earned him recognition, including being a multi-year competitor and scholarship winner from the Scholarship Student Stage at the Cotati Accordion Festival. Peter’s dedication to music extends to dual-enrollment courses at his local community college and active participation in the Bakersfield Jazz Workshop.

When he isn't playing music or attending to his studies, Peter is flying. He holds a student glider pilot license and works at a glider airport in Tehachapi, California. Peter is honored to be supported by the accordion community and is eager to bring his diverse interests to the GR8 IDEAS Symposium.

Peter only recently started his studies with Joseph Natoli, at which point it became immediately apparent that he just had to be heard at this year's Symposium. Peter can easily be considered a phenom from whom you all will be hearing much as he pursues his interests in music and digital accordion.

In Peter's own words:

"I am eager to attend the GR8 IDEAS Symposium to learn from and collaborate with some of the world’s most accomplished accordionists. I believe the digital accordion represents the next frontier of the instrument, and this symposium offers a rare opportunity to engage with those at the cutting edge of electronic music. I hope to be at the forefront of this evolution, and I am deeply grateful for the support that allows me to pursue this venture. I purchased my first digital accordion, a Roland FR-7X, two years ago, and the Korg Fisa Suprema this past year and have greatly enjoyed exploring all of the unique features of these instruments and the ways they can be used in accordion music and music from all genres."
