Stan Bann

Composer / Orchestrator / Arranger / Performer / Clinician

The NEW Composition

Stan was commissioned this year to write a major work for accordion and symphonic wind ensemble, a 5 movement work called "Terra Incognita." This is a genre of original accordion music that has not been attempted before, which is what inspired the title. Joseph Natoli will world premiere the work on Sun Jun 21, 2026 at the Packard Auditorium in Warren, Ohio at 7pm ET, which is what will kick off the GR8 IDEAS Symposium 5.0 The collaboration between Joseph and Stan has been a very productive and creative experience and many other performance opportunities for this new composition will be sought out across the USA with other well established symphonic wind ensembles.  MANY THANKS STAN FOR YOUR WONDERFUL TALENTS!
